Welcome to the Officer's Club
Please note, our forum and raid planner is only available to Kin Members registered with the website.
"We go where we please and please where we go"
Officers Club is a lifespan rank 10 Lord of the Rings Online EU Kinship on the Evernight server. The Kinship was founded by three players who all knew each other from being officers in a previous kinship. They wanted to be able to play together along with other members without getting such annoyances as ninja invites from other kinships, and also along with other irritating aspects of big spamming and immature kinships that also exist.
Officers Club is a mature kinship, and places equal emphasis on both instancing/raiding/fellowship play, as well as the more social and casual element too. There is no age limit of applicants and members, however we do require that members have a mature mindset and persona. If they do not, they probably do not belong in Officers Club. We do also understand that people have real lives too, so we do not mind if you are very casual gamers, hardcore gamers, or anything in between. In Officers Club you will be treated equally.
New raid guidelines are posted up on the events forum now
If you sign up you are expected to attend. If you cannot make it, please let an officer know as soon as possible so we can give your slot to somebody else.
Please be ready for the start time, so logging in at least a few minutes earlier would be helpful.
Please make sure your character is adequately traited for your role in the raid, e.g. Healers not dps traited, lore masters crowd control traited, hunters not strength stance traited etc etc.
Your virtue traits (valour/idealism etc.) must be at least rank 7 to be part of the raid. (Getting traits to rank 7 really is not that hard!)
Bring potions. Please. Really do. Power, morale, wound, fear, poison, disease should all be brought with you.
Food is not essential but it is very handy all the same, so we recommend bringing some.
If you think you may have to leave mid-raid, then please bring this up at the earliest time you can so we can plan around you leaving and maybe draft somebody else in to your role.
Be considerate when rolling for loot. For things like legendary weapons, only the specific class may roll for it (e.g. the captains may only roll if a captain’s halberd is in the chest). For jewellery items, please consider whether you REALLY need the item (e.g. If you are a hunter, don’t roll the necklace that has +40 might and +300 block chance).
Enjoy yourselves in the raid. If we wipe, then that’s no problem. It just means we go back and do it different the next time.
